A lovely breeder friend gave me a bag of homemade liver treats for the Pomeranians. WOW. The Pomeranians loved them, so I decided to buy a dehydrator and attempt to make these Pomeranian treats to keep the Pom fur kids happy.
This short video is my attempt at making these Pomeranian treats. Next time, I will cut the liver thinner. Make these treats, and your Pomeranian will thank you.
Best Dog Treats for Pomeranians Recipes
Chicken Jerky
Chicken is always a Pomeranian favorite treat. Best treats for Pomeranians: Chicken Jerky.
Ingredients:
2 to 4 chicken breasts
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Remove any excess fat from the chicken. Turn the chicken breast on its side and slice it into 1/8-inch thick strips with a paring knife.
- Set the strips on a baking sheet. Bake for 2 hours.
- Check the chicken before removing it from the oven. It should be dry and hard, not soft or chewy. Allow the chicken to cool completely before serving.
- Store the jerky in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks.
Canine Bacon Biscuits

Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour.
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1 beef cube or 1 teaspoon of beef stock powder
- One tablespoon of wheat germ
- 1/3 cup bacon fat or vegetable oil
- 1 cup chopped bacon bits
- One large egg
- 1/2 cup cold water
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350. F or 175. C and line tray with baking powder.
- Put all the dry ingredients and bacon into a large bowl, add the beaten egg, oil, water, and garlic, and mix well.
- If the mixture is a little dry, add a bit more water.
- Roll out and use a doggy biscuit cutter, cut out the biscuits, and place them on a tray.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until a yummy golden brown.
- You can cut out a bone-shaped template using firm cardboard.
Bacon Flavored Dog Biscuits
Ingredients:
- 5 cups whole wheat flour
- Ten tablespoons of melted bacon fat
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- Two large eggs
- One teaspoon salt
Instructions:
- Mix all ingredients well.
- Pinch off pieces of the dough, roll them into golf ball-sized pieces, and place them on a well-greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 to 40 minutes.
